Who is responsible
This page is run by Board of Innovation, Regine Beerplein 1, 2018 Antwerp, Belgium. For anything in this policy, write to nivara@boardofinnovation.com.
What we collect
Three things. The email address you type into the form, and only if you submit it, together with the country you tell us you live in and what you tell us about your heating, ventilation and roof windows. The country your connection appears to be in, which we work out from your IP address at the moment you submit the form, so that we can tell whether our advertising is reaching the countries it was meant for. We store the country, not your IP address. And how the page was used, such as which pages you opened and which buttons you pressed, collected through Google Analytics, and only if you accepted cookies.
Why we collect it
We are testing interest in a product that is not on sale yet. Your email lets us tell you if it launches. What you tell us about your home tells us whether the product would work in houses like yours, and which systems to support next. The usage data tells us which version of the page people responded to. Nothing on this page completes a purchase, and no payment details are ever requested.
The legal basis
Your consent, in both cases. You give it by submitting the form or by accepting cookies, and you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing it does not affect anything we did while it was given.
Who else sees it
Vercel hosts the page. Google receives the responses to the form, which are stored in Google Workspace, and Google processes the usage data. Both act on our instructions and neither may use your data for their own purposes. Some of that processing happens outside the European Union, under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Email addresses and what you told us about your home: twelve months after this test ends, then deleted. Usage data: fourteen months. Sooner, at any point, if you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, and withdraw your consent. Write to nivara@boardofinnovation.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to your national data protection authority, or to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit).
Cookies
Nothing that identifies you is stored until you accept. If you decline, we count the visit without setting identifiers. You can change your mind here.
